An editorial cartoon is worth a 1000 words

Once again the Arizona Republic’s editorial cartoonist, Steve Benson, nails it.

Confidential to Mark: Sorry Mark, Jerry Falwell was just NOT a nice guy and he deserves every single bit of the disdain being heaped on him now.

I wish the words were easier to read. I'm trying to count how many times I show up on the list. ;)

Ummmm I think the better question is who doesn't show up on the list.

ahhh another uses the word hate to describe those whom disagree with him. Does anyone see a pattern here?

Mark, if you think Falwell merely "disagreed with" the people on that list, then you've obviously never read some of his more inflammatory public statements.

jarred,
perhaps you, like Falwell, have invested your money, built a home for children suffering from parents with drug problems? Perhaps you, unlike like Falwell and the rest of the world, have never said anything "inflammatory'? How does it feel jarred to feel like you are a 'saint' and actually do nothing to shed light on the darkness folks live in? Jarred, you have no absloute source for Right and Wrong but your sin filled death stenched heart. You have only one way to be saved, and it appears to date, you have rejected it.

What you call 'inflammatory', I would probably call God's wisdom.

As a good friend once told me, some times, the only appropriate response is a fit of hysterical laughter.
