I seethe NOT because my son is gay. I seethe because he lives in a country in which some elected officials find it politically advantageous to deny him dignity, basic rights, and protections. I seethe because there are people who preach hatred and discrimination towards gays yet claim to be "good" and "loving" Christians. I seethe because there are groups who claim to be "advocates" for the family but who work to do great harm to any family that doesn’t fit their narrow template for “normal”.
You don't want to wear a mask, but the policy of the store you are going to, requires you to wear one. What do you do? Go to a store that does not require you to wear a mask. We have been making Gays & Lesbians go somewhere else for decades. So shut the F up Buttercups and wear the damn mask.
For the people who visit my blog, this video holds no revelations. The lgbtq community has been the punching bag for these evangelicals for decades. But I am posting this video because it is so cathartic. It strips down the facade of sanctimony and exposes their greed, cruelty, & hypocrisy. These evangelicals are fear-mongers who have abused and shamed and fought for draconian anti-gay laws as a way to appeal to the worst of the worst. And now they are supporting a thrice-married monster accused of sexual assault by over 20 women and put him in the White House. These evangelicals are shameless frauds. May they rot in hell for the pain and agony and deaths they have caused. It has been lucrative for them, but deadly for our lgbtq children, brothers, sisters, neighbors and friends.
