And this Seething Momma and straight ally could not be happier. Good riddance to yet one more horrible, disgraceful, bigoted, disgusting, and hideously cruel law that never made any sense to anyone but the bigots, homophobes and religious crazies.
But... not everyone is as joyous as I am about the death of this ugly law. As expected, Senator McCain is very unhappy and is doing his very best to cement his status as a sore loser and nasty little old man before the final vote even takes place. It must be so devastating to realize how quickly one can become so inconsequential. Presidential candidate one minute, bitter, nasty has-been the next. And it couldn't happen to a more deserving guy...
